Susan Keymer & Juan George have retired and have passed along stewardship of their beloved land to the Coffey family. We hope to fill rather large shoes and are learning as we go. Please do not hesitate to reach out and introduce yourselves, we plan to operate in a limited capacity for our first season while transferring our Organic Certification.
You-Pick berries will be the main focus going forward.
Merrick Farm is a 60-acre Certified Organic and Certified Naturally Grown farm located in Monmouth County, NJ. This former dairy processing plant has been family-owned and operated since 1908 and have been growing delicious, nutritious food for nearly thirty years by maintaining tried and true principles and methods in optimizing soil health and integrated pest management. Merrick Farm now specializes in organically grown Blackberries, several varieties of Raspberries, newly added Blueberries, and a Lavender Field consisting of several cultivars selected for their fragrance and bloom.

Merrick Farm is a 60-acre Certified Organic and Certified Naturally Grown farm located in Monmouth County, NJ. This former dairy processing plant has been family-owned and operated since 1908. Recently, Susan & Juan have retired-but will remain on property. Be sure to reach out to them and extend your well-wishes.
Please be patient with our transition phase. The Coffey's plan to rehab the old farmhouse and will live on property, but that will take some time & a lot of work. You-pick berries will be open this season and will become our primary focus going forward.

With an abundance of organic produce, herbs, and berries, this year promises to be a great one. Whether you want to kick-start your home garden with some of our potted plant starts, or you are looking for some unique, local-grown produce, we have something for every season. Join us this spring for delicious, strawberries (both hot house and organically grown in the field), green garlic, and garlic scapes. Summer will bring heirloom tomatoes, peppers, chilies, raspberries, oregano, and lavender. Our Fall Squashes are not only delicious, they make an attractive addition to your indoor centerpieces & outdoor arrangements.
